Is this the end of blogging?

Blogging is one of the best ways to start a career in online money making with low investment and high returns. All you need to do is just to select the niche on which you can write content and simply start publishing on your blog, after AdSense approval and decent traffic on your website you can start making money at home.  Before reading this blog, I would suggest you to have patience and read carefully, because all the major queries regarding Blogging as a career has been answered here, if you still have queries, you can reach out to us at Turboupdatesofficial@gmail.com Let’s dive into blogging journey now.

Now the question is: Is the blogging still that much effective after the arrival of ChatGPT or other AI content writing tools?

And the answer is clearly yes, it has less impact especially on Blogging. However other forms of content have impacted the traffic on blogs significantly nowadays. There’s a trend of videos, reels and shorts creation. Content consumption in terms of videos has significantly increased in past few years. But that does not mean blogging is finished. As long as people are searching the queries on google, blogging will be there, all you need to do is to create an authority in your domain.

And creating authority is not the game of a day. It needs regular and consistent efforts, staying updated with the past, present and upcoming trends in your industry. Write on the topics and give your suggestion and expertise in the industry in which you are. It is the only simple way you can choose to establish the authority in long run.

In case of news blogs, it’s bit different, posting regular and multiple blogs a day can help you sustain in the market. In case of news blog, I would suggest instead of multi-niche, stick to 2-3 topics only, like Tech, Sports, Stock Market etc. Select any of these niches and further divide the topics on which you can write every day, once you establish authority with adequate content, traffic and ads approval only then add other topics. Otherwise, it would be difficult to rank news blog especially if you are starting alone and don’t have team to post articles.

Will ChatGPT finish the blog writing career?

ChatGPT is a good tool if used wisely, like for content research, keywords research, SEO planning etc. But creating complete content from ChatGPT or other AI content writing tools is not a good option, especially if you are planning to start a blog that get less or negligible impact from google updates in long run.

  • Writing content on your own.
  • Solving queries of your users.
  • Bothering less about keyword stuffing in your post.
  • Create well-structured content for users not for search engines or bots.

It’s all you need to make your blog full proof ready to survive all the updates. Because at the end it only the quality that matters to Google.

AI written content is well written content, but comes with lot of limitations as well, due to which it cannot replace human content writers.

  • Follow Writing Patterns: All AI tools follow certain writing patterns, although they all are good in creating grammatically correct articles but still, they follow some patterns in terms of their pitch, choices of vocab etc.
  • Lack of Decision-Making Ability: AI can only suggest you what is best according to the content available on internet but cannot help you in making rational decision. Let’s understand this from an example.

For Example: You want to purchase a car and planning to choose between Audi, BMW and Mercedes. Now according to your budget you’ve written a prompt in ChatGPT to suggest you: cars from these 3 companies under your budget and suggest best among them? And ChatGPT give results to you based upon your command and suggested you the best among them too. Now could you make a purchase decision based on that suggestion? Just think of it.

Here’s the answer, first of all after shortlisting from AI you’ll go on google and check all the details of the shortlisted models and then go and check multiple reviews and feedbacks by automobile websites. Later you’ll check some YouTube content for the same shortlisted models earlier for more insights and detailed overview, look and feel, milage, performance etc. After that you’ll book test drives of all the shortlist cars, to have a real time experience. Based on that real time experience a purchase decision could be made.

Now think again, could any AI Tool directly help you take decisions without human intervention?

The answer is No. It can only help you reducing your research efforts but for taking decisions real time human intervention is needed. At that point human written content, genuine reviews and feedbacks about products and service came into picture.

So, this way AI cannot replace human written content.

Can I get my AI written content Ranked?

Another question a lot of people have in their mind is that, can we rank AI written or ChatGPT written content ranked on google? And the Answer is, absolutely yes. But here comes another question.

Would it be beneficial in traffic generation? Here the answer is unclear, I would say in some cases you’ll get traffic in other cases may be not base upon the topics you choose and goals you have.

Getting website ranked on first page is not the only thing in blogging, keeping track of other metrics are equally important if you want to make money from blogging.

Here comes the most important metric in this particular case, which is bounce rate of users on your page. It means how much time a user spends on your page when he landed from SERP results. The more bounce rate, poor the performance of your website and lesser the bounce rate means the user is spending more time on your website which is a great signal.

And now the question is how to reduce the bounce rate?

And the answer is making the content more engaging and user friendly, try answering all the possible queries user could have related to that topic.

In case of AI written content, it will be more professional, less interactive, and more of following a wrting pattern, which most of the readers now a days can identify easily. So, they don’t prefer reading AI content as they are seeking human opinion or advice otherwise, they can simply use ChatGPT or any AI tool to find results instead of Searching it on google and landing on your blog.

Could AI written content help in Blogging?

Yes, AI written content can help in blogging but writing content only using AI tools is of no worth. You can’t make money in long run. Get help from these tools, for content ideas, research & analysis work but write article own your own is the only way for long term survival and benefit.

Can I make money using AI written content in blogging?

In short term yes, until the next google update, but in long run focus on creating quality content and human written content if you want to make money from blogging. No shortcuts would help you make money from google. Just think of one thing, that why google should pay you for the content they already have on their search engine. They need fresh content, not repurposed content. Better create original & quality content and earn from AdSense or other platforms.

Could AI written content takeover Human Written Content:

AI cannot takeover Human content due to following reasons:

  • Decision Making: No, AI cannot takeover human written content, as there’s always a need of content that leads to decision making which could be created by human himself based on the practical and real-life experiences as mentioned above.
  • New Topics: AI models are working on the basis of the data provided to them. They in fact self-train them based on the new information fed to them. But there must be someone to provide new information, new content, new updates to AI bots as well. So, there’s always a need to human written content over AI content. For example: you are writing blogs on sports. In sports, every-time there are new leagues, cups and tournaments are going on. Who is going to write first on that, A human, right? After that a content can be repurposed from the original source by AI bots. So better be original sources of content creations than secondary once.
  • Writing Patterns: Human written and Ai written blogs could easily be differentiated due to their writing styles. Human written content is more conversational, keeping their user psychology in mind they write engaging and value driven content, whereas AI write to the point, value adding content following same writing style, attracting less attention from users.

First, I’ll talk about who can make it a full-time career. Everyone can make it a full-time career but priority to the students is first because they are studying and don’t have any responsibility right now of managing finances of their home. Blogging needs time and patience to deliver results from 6 months to 1 year or even more to monetize it. Students can start is along with their studies and can become a full-time blogger by the end of their course if they remain consistent and true to their efforts.

But for the people who are working cannot immediately shift their career into blogging, instead they can start in part time at home, once they monetize the blog and making at least double the income they are making from their jobs for more than 2 years at-least only then they must plan to leave job and shift to full time blogging.

Is this the end of blogging in 2025?

No, this is not the end of blogging, traffic is however a bit less compared to last few years due more video content consumption. But blogging is still alive and there are lot of bloggers using this as full-time profession and earning handsome amount which normally corporates don’t make in their 9-5 jobs. But by just motivation don’t just step into this, it’s not for everyone. If you are really serious about it only then start it.
